Trailside Heights Ribbon Cutting | Anchorage, Alaska

Trailside Heights Ribbon Cutting | Anchorage, Alaska

Two of EEI’s civil engineers recently attended the ribbon cutting ceremony for Phase One of the new Trailside Heights community development in Anchorage. Phase One includes 66 affordable housing units, each with a single-car heated garage. There is a community center on site that offers a computer lab, meeting room, laundry facilities, and exercise equipment. The family friendly development is located in Anchorage near amenities such as child care centers, schools, shopping, bus routes, churches, restaurants, and a medical clinic. EEI provided civil and geotechnical engineering and survey services for the project. Civil site design included water and wastewater service, site drainage, roadways, and paved parking areas.

The photo above is of Elaine Dahlgren, President and CEO of Volunteers of America Alaska, cutting the ribbon for the ceremony. One of Alaska’s Senators, Lisa Murkowski, is also pictured.

Congratulations to everyone who worked together to fund, design, and build this important project!
