Cut and Cover Tanks

EEI is a recognized leader in the inspection and design of DoD style cut and cover tanks. EEI has inspected more than 100 cut and cover tanks utilizing applicable portions of API 653 and engineering practices. In the last five years, EEI has designed new cut and cover tanks at overseas locations in Australia, remote pacific islands, and Japan. Additionally, EEI has experience repairing all generations of cut and cover tanks ranging from concrete tanks to steel barrel tanks to current concrete barrel tank with steel liners. Common repairs of vintage cut and cover tanks include damage from ground water uplift, corrosion, concrete degradation, and nozzle / appurtenance repairs. EEI has inspected and developed repair documents for cut and cover tanks at locations CONUS and OCONUS in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
