Trailside Heights Affordable Housing Development

Enterprise Engineering, Inc. (EEI) provided civil and geotechnical engineering, planning and permitting services, and construction phase services for this three-phase affordable housing project in South Anchorage.

Trailside Heights is a new award-winning affordable housing community in South Anchorage that has helped relieve that shortage by providing homes to more than 300 residents. The community covers 8 acres of land and includes 33 buildings, comprising 121 two- and three-bedroom units, community center, playground, as well as Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible pedestrian connectivity to a church, public school, and mass transit.

This project was designed in several phases as funding became available. Because of EEI’s implementation plan for development of future phases, the project was completed successfully.
